Our story
Persian rugs have been in my family since I was born. I grew up playing on them, learning how to walk and creating spaces for friends. We believe everyone should have the chance to experience the richness of this art and the warmth it brings to a living space and your life.
A well-kept Persian rug lasts fifty years and far beyond. Over its life, a rug holds a few families memories with it and we aim to create an opportunity for more memories to be made.
Handmade rugs like these have long been out of reach: the price tags are steep, and they're hard to move for anyone who only lives somewhere for a little while. So we built a business that checks every box.
At Woven Commons, a rug moves from one home to the next, and each family, group of friends, artists and students, can be another chapter in it's life.
